Featured Speaker: John Lucas
John Lucas II will join us as the featured speaker for our 4th Annual Hope and Recovery Luncheon! Lucas has transparently discussed the struggles he faced with substance use disorder during his playing career. Now 38-years sober, he has dedicated himself to helping other individuals suffering from substance use and mental health disorders regain control of their lives, creating an extensive program that helps professional athletes progress to their athletic potential, achieve sobriety, and remain drug free.
Lucas has counseled or mentored a number of young athletes, several of whom went on to achieve successful careers in the NBA. John will inspire you with his insights about the transformative power of education, recreation, and healthy living. His personal journey has given him a unique perspective on the issue.
What is Hope Ranch?
Hope Ranch is where people come to find life. As an inpatient facility, together, we are able to rebuild the lives of and serve indigent, jobless, homeless, uninsured and underinsured individuals.
Through the stages of detoxification, rehabilitation, and aftercare, Hope Ranch is meant to help enrich the quality of life for all who enter our doors. Believe it or not, addiction affects us all. When addiction is treated promptly, the financial burden that is placed upon our local healthcare, judicial, and law enforcement systems can be alleviated.
Hope Ranch works to take a proactive approach to help those return back to the life they were meant to live.
Don't miss out!
